SnoofyTail helps pet parents understand what their pets can’t tell them. This page explains what this website collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We never sell your data.

When you join the beta

We keep what you type into the form: your email, your WhatsApp number (if you give it), your pet’s name, whether they are a dog or a cat, and your city. We use it to let you into the beta, to tell you about SnoofyTail, and to count the friends who join with your invite link. If you give us a WhatsApp number, we may message you there about the beta.

When you write to us as a vet

We keep your name, clinic, email, phone number, city and message, to get back to you about working together.

When you visit

To understand how the site is used and make it better, we record, without cookies that follow you around the web:

• an anonymous id stored in your browser, so we can tell a returning visit from a new one;
• how long the page is open and in use, and how far into the story you scroll;
• the buttons and links you click, and the forms you open or send;
• your device type, browser and screen size, the page that sent you here, and campaign tags in the link;
• an approximate location (country and city) worked out from your connection. We don’t store your IP address, only a scrambled code made from it.

You can turn this off for a visit by adding ?notrack to the address.

Sound

The story has music and a voiceover. Nothing is recorded from your microphone; the sound only plays.

Where it is kept

Your details are stored with our database provider (Neon, on servers in Singapore) and travel encrypted. Only the SnoofyTail team can see them.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at any time. Write to [email protected] and we’ll take care of it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
